City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #186427

City Performance:

Other: Why is the expansion of the showers building into the west not for the expansion of city hall? This seems most logical as there are employees spilling into hallways, lack of meeting rooms, lack of parking, and no need to move those (police and fire) into a smaller space when they both respectively have their own headquarters. Very puzzling choices

The Showers West expansion will include space for staff who are currently in City Hall, to address some of the issues you detail. (Though staff are not quite spilling out into the hallways, and the meeting room utilization is well within norms.) It is important for the Fire and Police administrative teams to be under the same roof as the rest of City Hall. We all work together, for the city.
