Other: A resident on the south side of Pine Meadows Drive asked me if there was anything that could be done about the brightness of the lights at the intersection of Rockport and Country Club. He said the light was really bright in his backyard, and that it was frustrating. I couldn't think of who to reach out to, but I was wondering if there was any way something could be added to shield the extra light that is apparently beaming into his backyard? I know lighting the intersection is important, but hopefully there is a way to light the intersection without lighting up his backyard. Thanks!

Hello, I am copy/pasting a response to a similar inquiry in early 2023. "After initial project construction, and in response to complaints, these street lights were replaced by the Public Works Department in consultation with a lighting manufacturer. The lighting levels were reduced to meet recommendations for this type of intersection (I believe this occurred a few years ago). I have recently visited this intersection in the dark. The lighting level at the intersection appears to be reasonable and appropriate. I can understand a frustration from some adjacent properties because the height of the lighting allows it shine on adjacent properties, but that unfortunately can be true of all street lighting. At this time there are no additional changes planned for the intersection's street lighting."
