Other: We want to formally oppose Tyler Curry's proposed development on Morningside Drive. He wants to build a self-storage building right next to a park and a family neighborhood, which I find completely inappropriate. This is an area where children play soccer, go sledding in the winter, and walk to the local ice cream shop. This is a safe, quiet neighborhood that should not have a self-storage facility placed in it. We believe that a self-storage facility would make the park and surrounding area unsafe for these young families. Please consider telling Tyler Curry no.

I have added your thoughts to my files about this project so that we have a record of it - they will be included in the meeting packet anonymously. This property is zoned MM and our current code does allow the self-storage use on properties in the MM zoning district. If you have concerns or objections about this proposal, I encourage you to attend the June 10th Plan Commission hearing and speak during the public comment time.
