Planning staff inspected the site on 05/29/2024 and observed and documented sediment that had left the property at 111 N Hampton Ct and entered the adjacent roadway. Planning staff communicated via phone call with the contractor on the demolition permit on file with the Monroe County Building Department (R-24-246). Contractor will have the area cleaned up as soon as possible with all sediment returned to the property, reseed disturbed areas as necessary, and install further erosion controls as necessary. Planning staff will proceed with issuing a Notice of Violation (NOV) letter for violation of environmental standards, establishing deadlines for site compliance with erosion and pollutant control requirements.
