Other: An Airbnb, located at 723 W Allen St., is claiming city property as private property. The land on the west end of the park located at 1126 S Fairview St., is being rented out as a parking lot and used to store vehicles, dog kennel etc. Altercations have occurred when children and dog walkers attempt to access the area as the adjacent property owner claims that it is theirs because they maintain it (mowed the grass). The neighborhood would like to see this green space no longer rented out and used for personal storage of one individual.
City Legal continues to communicate with the property owner, and a survey was ordered to show property lines.
Several City Departments, including City Legal are working on a resolution here.

Is this something that HAND can help with? It isn't something the police can do much with, as it involves property boundaries and someone potentially claiming City property as their own.
