The City leases street lights from Duke Energy to illuminate City streets and sidewalks. Since the light is illuminating your backyard, I am assuming that this is a private light from one of your neighbors. If this is the case then you can contact the City Planning Department (812-349-3423) who handles light trespass issues from private property.
