Other: I think it’s unacceptable that well behaved dogs aren’t allowed at a park. And that it’s only if certain people are at the field because I’ve definitely brought my dog here before without any issues. And then to be kicked out and have to sit in the car with the dog for over 8 hours because we came for a softball tournament is outrageous. It would be one thing if my dog was misbehaving but we hadn’t even sat down yet. No dogs allowed has and always will be a stupid rule in outdoor public places. There are stores that allow dogs now let’s get with the program and change it to well behaved dogs allowed. And let’s give a person at least an hour to figure out what to do with the dog. Luckily, I came with my boyfriend today so my dog will not be suffocating in the car alone.

Hi Hanna, thanks for submitting the report, here are the current animal policies: Some parks and facilities, based on their size, location or design purpose, can attract a large gathering of participants, users or spectators. In these situations staff have observed that the inclusion of animals in this environment poses a threat for possible injury to other park users or where food products are sold the possibility of unsanitary conditions. For this reason the following areas have restrictions where animals, other than a service animal assisting persons with disabilities, can not be brought into the park or facility in order to protect other park users: ● The interior of fenced sports facilities. ● Farmers’ Markets vendor areas.
