This is an ongoing enforcement case with the City Planning and Transportation Department. Our Department Director is in the process of working with the property owners on a plan for replacing removed trees to bring the property back into compliance with the City's Tree and Forest Preservation standards. While the site was allowed to cut down a portion of the trees, full removal of the closed-canopy wooded area would not have been permitted.
