Wildlife Conflict:

Other: On June 4th I saw a fawn with a doe (not uncommon), but the doe had a severe gash on her underside. Flesh was hanging down and I could see her insides. The both walked away. Over the next several days, I saw an lone fawn, but no doe would ever emerge to be with it. Now, for the past 3 days, this fawn has been laying against the house at 2205 East Laurelwood Drive, about 15 feet off the side walk (not very protected). I've lived in the area for 19 years and have seen hundreds of does with fawns, often separated, but this definitely seems different.
