Other: I am a new homeowner and I have a question or two! I have two large sugar gum trees in the front of my house on the strip of grass in between the sidewalk and street. I was told that these trees are the city’s property not mine. I am concerned because I have to trim some on the larger branches that overhang my roof and also the roots are bowing the sidewalk out and pushing up the concrete in my basement. If I wanted to service these trees myself do I need a permit or does the city handle these things?
