Other: Cable hanging down on sidewalk near corner of W. 1st and WylieEuclid. Duke came and said not theirs prob phone or internet cable. Checked with one internet company (Comcast) and 14 day wait. The cable is on the sidewalk and a hazard in many ways. It seems to be possible related to the movement and placement of construction poles during demos and renovations to the East.
Utility owner has removed the abandoned low hanging cable.
Permit holder working on behalf of Comcast has confirmed that the line is for telephone. I have reached out to known telephone utilities to try and track down the owner. Will update once owner is verified.
I've reached out to a recent right-of-way permit holder in this same area to verify ownership. Keeping this open until that is verified.
