Water Quality:
Other: Water quality has gotten extremely bad the last week. We (Starbucks store) monitor our water filtration system regularly and normally need to change the filter every 3-4 months (filters are rated to last up to 6 months but they ask us to change them once they become "latte colored"). Saturday 6/28, we found that our water filter was nearly completely black despite being only 1 month old. We changed the filter on Sunday 6/29 and within 24 hours it had already turned "latte colored" (tan). By Tuesday 7/1, it had already turned a dark brown and we had our water filtration system contractor Icee come out and check over the system, run a refresh, and change all changeable parts. Today, Saturday 7/5, the filter is back to being a dark brown color. We are concerned about what is in the water coming through our system and for those around us consuming tap water.
