Other: I'm not sure if you are aware, but they are resurfacing Washington and that makes this the PERFECT opportunity to do something here that makes sense, ie: not paint a line and say it's for bikes and hope/pretend that cars don't park in it, because they will. The easiest and most obvious solution is to do nothing, or at most paint a "sharrow". Simple fact is: a car can't block a bike lane if it isn't there.
