Other: On Saturday, August 2, 2025, we went downtown to have lunch with friends. We parked on the north side of E. 4th Street a half block past Indiana Avenue. I stepped out of the car on the passenger side and stepped into a grass covered hole approximately 5 inches deep by 25 inches across . It had been mowed in such a manner to make it appear that the ground was level. I sustained a sprained left ankle plus a fracture of lateral malleolus of left fibula. I will be in an air cast for an indeterminate amount of time followed by physical therapy. I could only attach one photo, but, we took several more photos of the area. Was the City notified of this area before August 2nd? If not, you are now on notice and hopefully the hole can be filled in before someone else is injured.
I sent an email to Diane Kreegar with instructions on how to file a tort claim with the City of Bloomington.
