uReport

City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #205156

Biking & Walking:

Other: I originally reported piles of sand and gravel in the bicycle lane – from Old State Route 37 to 11th Street – on July 10 (Case 204099). When nothing was done, I submitted another request on July 26 (Case 204511). Six weeks have now elapsed, and the sand and gravel are still there. Why does it take so long for the city to remove bicycling hazards?

The uReport cases you reference were requests for sweeping along N College Ave, which our records indicate CBU completed on July 11, one day after the initial request. You submitted UReport #205157 on Aug. 21 to request sweeping along N Walnut St, and CBU has created Work Order #45787 to complete this. CBU began street sweeping operations about a year ago, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to fine-tune route scheduling and operation. Thank you.
