At this time we’re also not recommending a Deer Crossing sign without a documented pattern of deer related crashes or animal removals at this location, these signs have limited effectiveness when used broadly. If speeding is a concern, we encourage you to consider the City’s Resident Led Traffic Calming Program, which offers longer-term tools such as speed humps where appropriate. The program runs on an annual grant cycle with applications opening each January.
