Thank you for this report. Natural Resources staff have cleared this vegetation from the street.
Other: In 2024, the City of Bloomington planted native species along the west side of the B-Line trail adjacent to the 300 & 400 block of Mortons St. After a year of growth the portion next to the B-Line trail looks fine; however the “back side” of this planted area that is on the east side of Morton St is heavily overgrown, encroaching 3 to 4 feet into Morton St, obstructing traffic, pedestrians and bikers on Morton St. this is becoming a safety issue due to the narrowing of the street die to overgrown, and un-kempt planting of native plants along the B-Line trail. Requesting that the City of Bloomington groom the back side of this native planting, along Mortton St as to not obstruct the normal use of Morton shared by pedestrians, bikes and traffic.
Thank you for this report. Natural Resources staff have cleared this vegetation from the street.
