Street Lights:

Other: Greetings, as it seems that neighborhood lights were upgraded recently, can the intensity be decreased? I observed the effect of light's intensity on my front gardens, which did not receive sufficient dark period during the warmer season. A neighbor has purchased darkening curtains. I have switched which bedroom I sleep in rather then hanging dark material. The glare is obnoxious for many of us. Thank you for any information that you can share.

Susan, In order to expedite this concern, Duke Energy has asked if the poles can be marked with some sort of visible tape or a list of addresses with the street lights that are concerning. Please feel free to contact me via email at [email protected]
