Sidewalk Snow Removal:

Other: The B-line is rapidly developing an icing situation. Thank you for plowing it this year! But we need to respond more promptly to the situation a couple days after the snow falls. The remaining traces of snow turn into ice. A small amount of targetted salt would solve it, as it is mostly isolated spots. But it is a real hazard and will be until it's treated, as this cold is likely to stick around. Thanks!

In accordance with Bloomington Municipal Code 6.07.010 (a), a property owner gets 24 hours after the snow or ice has ceased to fall or in any way accumulate to remove it before we can issue a violation. In the event of a violation, the neighborhood compliance officer will issue a Notice of Violation (NOV) to the property owners via first class mail and by placing a copy of the notice of violation on the property.
