Other: The Project School’s student pickup line causes so many issues on Washington and 3rd streets. Especially with the College Ave closure, the 3rd and Washington intersection gets backed up at pickup time. I live on Washington and it took me 20 minutes to get from the light at 3rd and Washington to my parking spot at 2nd and Washington. Additionally, with the College Ave closure, 3rd is getting insanely backed up from College to Dunn/Atwater. This is unsustainable and the project school traffic guiders are making the issue worse.

Engineering staff conducted a field observation during the school pickup period at the intersection of E 3rd St and S Washington St. At the time of observation, traffic was flowing normally and no significant queueing or intersection blockage was observed. Staff did not identify operational issues related to the pickup activity. We will continue to monitor conditions in the area, particularly while nearby roadway closures remain in place.
