Other: I’m extremely disappointed with how the project on 2nd is being handled. Someone needs to take responsibility and manage this properly. I had an appointment and was late, not because of anything I did, but because access to the business was completely blocked. I then tried to use the alley as an alternative route, only to find that it was also closed due to construction. This level of poor planning is unacceptable. If both the main access and the only alternative route are shut down at the same time, what exactly are people supposed to do, fly?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Staff had previously informed the crews working in the area that access to nearby driveways must be maintained throughout the work. The parking occurring within the alley is not associated with the same project, but rather a separate private project related to that property. Those individuals should not be parking in the alley for extended periods of time. If they are seen doing so parking services will be contacted to help address.
