Other: Bike lanes on N. Smith Rd.need to be swept. The south bound lane from the Short Stop to Grandview Is particularly bad - full of yard waste, road debris, small bits of gravel, etc. Near the top of the hill, where the 14 foot sign is, there is a bush growing over the lane and face-slapping vegetation hanging down over the lane. I’m wondering if there is any regular schedule for sweeping bike lanes? At best, it seems this one gets swept about once a year. Sweeping the hill every couple of months wouldn’t be too often. The bike lane is narrower than recommended width to begin with. It gets really dangerous when we have to ride near the white lane (or sometimes in the car lane). The painted lines make drivers believe everything is ok as long as they stay between their lines and they don’t realize how closely they are passing vulnerable bicyclists. I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of the bike lane. But it should be easy to see what I’m writing about, especially if you are on a bicycle.
