City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #210869

Water Quality:

Other: The taste/smell in the water supply has been a problem for years. The last time I brought up the subject to the City, they sent someone out to flush the water line--turn on a nearby fire hydrant. Of course, after a few days the water returns to smell/taste. So, what is being done to solve the problem? What is the position of the Health Department?

Without an address we are unable to flush to help improve any stagnant water in the system. There are currently no taste and odor precursors in the source water. Please email [email protected] with any further questions, or to provide an address and request localized flushing.
