Other: Thank you for paving Henderson, it looks great! I understand that you likely have to wait before painting on new asphalt, but I’m writing in to suggest some temporary traffic management during that time. Henderson is a heavy traffic street for cars, pedestrians, and cyclists. Newly paved roads with no markings can encourage faster speeds and other close calls with pedestrian and cyclist safety. I am most concerned about where Henderson turns into a one way. This is a bit confusion without road markings (luckily, I’ve been driving it for years). But without the markings, you do not know that the left lane is a bike lane. This morning on my commute, I saw a car parked on the left side of Henderson just after it turns to a one way, where the bike lane is. I’m not sure how much longer it’ll be before permanent markings can be painted, but some temporary markings or signs would help increase safety during the interim. Thank you!
