Thank you for your message. The letter and policy you are referring to was executed two mayors ago, and the relevant parts of the 2010 Arizona law that it referred to were overturned by the Supreme Court in 2012. It was already moot by the time Mayor Hamilton's term began in 2016, much less Mayor Thomson's term, which began in 2024. There is no such ban still in effect and to our knowledge has not been one in quite some time.
