Other: Due to a near constant flow of students across the pedestrian walkway, 10th street traffic is often highly backed up, increasing emissions from idling cars and making buses late. Putting in a pedestrian crossing light would create opportunities for cars and pedestrians to take turns and make the area move more efficiently.

Thank you for the suggestion. We are aware of the concerns at this crossing and will keep this in mind as future improvements along 10th Street are developed. Any larger changes at this location will need to be coordinated with Indiana University and will likely take some time for planning, funding, and design.
