Water Utility Billing Problems: Request

Letter: Customer feels that his bill is excessive and requests that an adjustment be made. Piece on stool that holds handle to the bottom broke. Customer states that CBU employee could find no leaks and flipped a switch in toilet and stated that the problem was solved. Customer feels that CBU should have checked more closely.

Matter will be referred to USB Administrative Subcommittee for review. USB Administrative Subcommittee reviewed request for adjustment. Since meter was working properly and since customer stated stool leaked, subcommittee denied adjustment. Neither water nor wastewater charges will be changed.
