Phone Call: This lot is overgrown with weeds/shrubs/flowers. The weeds are obstructing a "No Parking" sign in front of the house and are starting to climb up the post of the stop sign at 6th & Elm. The weeds are over the sidewalk on 6th Street causing people to have to walk in the street. There are 2 junk cars parked in the sideyard on Elm Street.

spoke with the tenant about the brush blocking the sidewalk, he said he would be willing to cut back the shrubs. on 9/7/2001, the bushes were cut. cars still remain. sidewalk is now clear. nothing i can do about abandoned vechicles, this is a police matter.
