Traffic Related Complaints: Request
Phone Call: Mr. Miller states that since the City installed sidewalks along E. Third Street that bicyclists are riding on these sidewalks at high speed. It is very dangerous for pedestrians and one day he will be hit. Is there anything the City can do?

I talked to Mr. Miller and told him that we would issue a CA order to the police to patrol the area if possible. Bicyclists should not be on the sidewalk but there's really nothing I can do to keep them off (it's an enforcement issue). He asked about signs saying No BIkes on Sidewalk and I explained that if I put them at his location, I've got to put them everywhere in town; we just can't be doing that.
