Phone Call: Mitchell stated that there is only one "No Parking" sign located in front of 1400 (the south side of street). The street is very narrow and traffic should not be allowed on both sides. The house to the south of 1402 is possibly a rental and vehicles are parking on the north side causing a dangerous situation. Could there be "No Parking" on the north side also. Please note the Utilities Dept. did work in this area recenlty.
Fleig took a look at the area. There is only 1 "No Parking" sign, on the west side, in the block between Wilson Street and Hillside Drive. There is to be "No Parking" on the west side of Grant St. between Hilliside Drive and Grimes Lane per the BMC. Fleig sent a memo, 5/27/98, to Don Porter, Traffic Division, to take a look at this area and see about adding additional signage. Ms. Mitchell was notified of this action on 5/26/98.
