Other: Mr. Gardner reported to Street Dept. that a mailbox post with jagged sharp edges is stuck in the middle of the sidewalk at 504 N. Smith. Dangerous to pedestrians, and no mail box attached.
Drive by two weeks ago....complaint valid. Tried to call owners, Edward & Phyllis Kosta in Rensselaer, IN @ 219-866-3615....no answer or machine on two occasions. Talked to Penny...she said she would have Street cut it off. Driveby inspection last week. Post has been removed.
