Phone Call: RE: Lower Cascades South: Concerned that Cascades Park looks "seedy", not being well taken care of right now. Fountain looks "busted up" and trash everywhere. Also went by Karst Farm Park and saw people raking and cleaning up. Chose to rent the shelter there instead. Wanted us to follow up on this.
gave to Dave Williams for follow up. He wrote a letter to Ms. Craft thanking her for her concern and explaining the nature of other comments received about Cascades Parks. He told her that the Parks Dept. is in the process of preserving the park for it's 75th birthday in 1999. He thanked her for her suggestions and invited her to participate in the planning process for Cascades renovations.
