30 mph is the minimum speed limit allowed by state statute unless by a park or playground or engineering studies show it to be unsafe. There is currently no condition that makes 30 mph unsafe.

Phone Call: The area on Moores Pike near Bittner Woods is dangerous. People travel too fast, especially heading west before you get to the hill. Signs should be put up with a 20 or 25 mph speed limit before someone gets killed!
