Phone Call: Mrs. Soni called the Utilities dept. regarding her water bill, to see if they wld. change her billing cycle to read DUE ON ____ (anytime during the 1st week of every mo.). Currently, she receives a bill that is due on the 26th of every mo. She wld. like it changed so her checks won't "cross" the billy cycle, and also so she won't receive a DISCONNECT NOTICE every mo. She says, " It's counterproductive, really." The Utilities dept. says they will NOT change her billing cycle-she's not happy.
I CALLED THE SONI RESIDENCE, LEFT A MESSAGE ASKING THEM TO CALL ME SO WE COULD DISCUSS THEIR COMPLAINT. I SPOKE WITH MR. ASH SONI 10-9-97 AND EXPLAINED WHY WE CANNOT MOVE HIM TO ANOTHER BILLING CYCLE. HE IF FINE WITH THAT NOW BUT DID NOT FEEL THAT I SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM THE ALTERNATIVES OF A PAYMENT PLAN AND CAP. I APOLIGIZED AND THE CONVERSATION ENDED. I BELIEVE THIS CASE IS CLOSED.
