Walk In: main entry door has deadbolt lock---in addition to panic hardware.

Completed DB inspection. Complaint valid. Daycare wants slide bolt removed, but says John Lee at hospital says they have to keep it locked. Smiths left message for John Lee. John was advised of Indiana law concerning locked exits, and that the lock should be removed within 5 working days. done reinspection on 8/29, lock was still on door. contacted Mark Crain, vice-president of that area. advised him of the situation. ssmith advised him that lock should be off by 4pm on 8/29, and that I would show up at 4pm to verify its removal. also advised Mr. Crain that State Fire Marshall would be contacted if it was still in place.
