Sidewalk Snow Removal: Request
Phone Call: Mr & Mrs. Deckard are concerned about the detention basin across Countryside Lane from them. They feel it was not laid out properly and is filling up with sand and could be a future problem, causing water to back up into their yard. They would like us to look at it and see if anything can be done.

Mr. Deckard is concerned with the "Detention Pond" silting in. There is no such pond. The dich however is silting in. Runoff from Thompson park is the cause of the problem. A memo dated 07/25/97 from Jonathan Heald to Dave Williams should solve the poblem. Advised Mr. Deckard of the situation and asked him to observe the ditch. currently the siltation is not a problem; however, if the work on Thompson Park is delayed it could become one. Will recomend that the ditch be cleaned out later. JWH
