Mayor Email: CUSTOMER CONTACTED MAYOR'S OFFICE ON 5/2/97 TO COMPLAIN ABOUT SEWER GAS PROBLEM IN HIS AREA FOR 3 YEARS - NOTHING HELPS. (PER MIKE FARMER, JUVENILE CTR. PRIVATE LIFT STN. IS PART OF PROBLEM AS WELL AS ILLEGAL CONNECTIONS. STEVE GLASGOW WILL SET MTG. WITH STATE NEXT AND OFFER SOLUTIONS FOR THEM TO PURSUE.

STEVE GLASGOW IS WORKING WITH MR. HALL A meeting was held on May 7th with Mr. Hall, Adams Street residents, Randy Cassady, and representatives from the Correction Facility who operate sewage lift station that discharges effluent at Adams St. sewer. A joint plan was developed at the meeting to remedy the problem. Letter sent to Mr. Hall updating him on progress to date.6/5/97: Correction facility provided with a plan for effluent treatment, designed by CBU Staff. All legal work to reroute sewer completed. 7/8/97: Sewer rerouted. 7/11/97: SG contacted customer - no odor past two wks.
