Traffic Related Complaints: Request
Phone Call: Citizen says alley next to her house (between7th & 8th Streets) is very heavily travelled and vehicles use a high rate of speed. Aside from gravel being spewed into her yard, she is afraid that a child or a pet will be hurt by cars going too fast. Says she can only call Police so many times. Wants to know if speed bumps could be installed to slow down traffic through the alley.

I looked at the alley and determined that speed humps could not be placed because the alley is gravel. If we were to pave the alley it would simply increase the speeds. I tried to contact Mrs. Denning to talk to her but could never get ahold of her.
