I was already handling CA # 737 (Mayor's office) re: safety issue at 5th and Hillsdale. This involved removing the bushes within the City's R/W a 105 S Hillsdale. While Street Dept. was out there, I also had them remove the bushes at 208 S. Hillsdale (Mr. Friesel's house) because they were obstructing sight distance for vehicles trying to enter Hillsdale. This made a substantial improvement in the sight distance.
I wrote a letter to Mr. Friesel informing him that we will install a "side road" sign with an advisory speed plate for southbound traffic and will continue to monitor the area to determine if road reconstruction is warranted.
