There is a north/south alley that runs between 7th & 8th Streets behind Keller Heating & Cooling. There is another east/west alley that intersects the n/s alley ending in the Johnson Creamery parking lot. Sharon states that one of their employee trucks were recently hit using these alleys. Sharon feels that the intersection is dangerous if you have vehicles coming from different directions. She would like for the City to look at these alleys to see if there is anything the city or owners co

I checked the site and this appears to be one of the better alley intersections in the City in regards to site distance and alley improvements. I called Sharon at Keller Heating and Cooling; she was busy at the time and I left a message for her to call me back. 8/13/96 -- She called back and I explained that the City does not regulate alleys expect in terms of one-way designations. She asked if we could one-way it and I explained it does not maet the requirements for that either. She asked if the businesses could put up signs and I told her State Statute prohibits install. of reg. signs by anyone other that the governing authority.
