Restripping of Sixth St. between Walnut and Washington has resulted in the elimination of six parking spaces. Don Porter has advised her that this is due to compliance with the State Ordinance and that Transit had requested easier clearance when turning right off of Walnut onto Sixth. ( see letter)

Traffic Commission met and discussed the curb painting around the square. City Engineer stated that the requirements are State Statute and not within the jurisdiction of the City. Commission recommended that the Council look into having the State Stature changed.
