There has been a hole in the plastic protective cover over one of the lights under the bridge over the creek on Renwick Blvd south of the Moore's Pike roundabout broken for awhile. Today, I noticed a second a second one of the protective covers had been vandalized. Please bounce me back if a photo would help and I'll take one for you. Sorry that I didn't report the first one sooner. I certainly would have if I had known how easy it would be.

On the updated parksmart page: "The first three hours of parking are free in the following locations: Walnut Street Garage, Fourth Street Garage, 4th and Washington Lot, 6th and Lincoln Lot, 3rd and Washington Lot". The garage listings in the next section do not reflect this and just give hourly rates. Please clarify on this page which is correct - whether the first 3 hours are free or not, as it will help residents and visitors decide where to park for planned trips to downtown. Thank you!

Alley between Union and Bryan, just north of 5th is barely passable in a small passenger car due to vehicles poorly parked in the alley. One of the vehicles is a yellow VW Bug.

The cross walk at John Hinkle Place and 10th St (i.e., as you cross 10th) is extremely dangerous. The white lines are very faded such that cars may not be able to see them, and cars frequently fail to stop or even slow down for pedestrians already in the cross walk (not even just waiting to cross). Given that the city bus stop there is also used as an elementary school bus stop, this cross walk could provide a really dangerous situation for children as well as for adults. If the lines for this cross walk could repainted as soon as possible or (even better) if it could get a button to press for flashing lights as you cross, that would be extremely helpful. The white lines are very faded (such that cars may have difficulty seeing them), and cars frequently don't stop or slow down for pedestrians already in the cross walk (not just waiting to cross). Given that this bus stop is also used as an elementary school bus stop, this presents an extremely dangerous situation for young children as well as for adults. If this particular crosswalk could be repainted as soon as possible or (even better) if it could get a button to push for a flashing light while you cross, that would be a huge improvement for this area. Is it possible to put a "no U-turn" sign with the left turn signal on northbound Walnut at the bypass intersection? Now that the eastbound bypass lanes have a green right turn arrow, I've seen several (and been involved in one) near misses of people in the left turn lane doing U-turns and nearly hitting those turning southbound onto Walnut with their green arrow.
