The rear retaining wall of 705 w 13th Street is a hazard as it is soon to fall like the other piece of retaining wall that fell off. Please address this hazard that is seen every day by us dog walkers using the public ROW in the alley. That large piece of limestone could fall any second and land on something or someone and it is unfair that property owners are not held accountable for maintaining their property. This rental property was inspected recently, and even with hazardous sidewalks on property as well as hazardous retaining walls, it was approved as safe for being a rental. Nope. It is not safe.

While living at Terra Trace (321 E. 14th St) from 2020-2022 there were a lot of problems but one that should absolutely not be dismissed. I am disappointed that no one seems to realize the seriousness of this. On Aug 17, 2021, my neighbors set their stove on fire. Once I noticed the smoke smell, I went to the hallway to see what was going on and my neighbor explained what happened. They didn't know what to do so I pulled the fire alarm and it did not go off. I had to alert everyone by knocking on their doors to let them know the building wasn't safe and we needed to get out. I was told my claim was false and inaccurate. After some minor internet searches, I found that there was a fire here in 2011 (if I remember correctly) that killed a student. After finding this out, I knew I had to do more. I feel as if this apartment complex needs to be reevaluated for safety of the residents still living there. I will also be willing to provide more information, videos, etc about this incident. Retaining wall along alley is collapsing. House is close enough to wall that structural damage could occur. Property owner is the same as 427 N. Washington, which has also recently had a retaining wall collapse, but the owners just piled the cinder block back up and left it that way. That building is not so close to the wall as to create a hazardous situation - it is just an eyesore.

I appreciate you mowing so quickly after I called to mow. There is still overgrowth there. Furthermore, I have seen people coming in and out of the empty building that used to be the red cross. I don't think they are supposed to be there. Can you post a sign that says no trespassing? They broke a window within the last week to get in.

On the second floor on the Morton Street parking garage there is a security camera hanging very low. I walked into it today and was badly injured by it. It is a very big hazard for anyone walking in the parking garage. This has caused me a significant amount of trauma and pain. I am certain others have experienced the same issue. Please get this fixed immediately. The negligence is unacceptable. My team of lawyers will be in contact.

The Avenue refuses to fix their fire alarms. It is a massive public safety issue as nobody believes the alarms are valid. People stay inside after the alarms go off

I believe I have foundation issues that are damaging my apartment (that the maintenance people simply patched over without my knowledge, entering my apartment without my knowledge), a faulty heater, and mold in my vents and possibly air ducts that the BHA has all overlooked over the past year I’ve lived here. The mold has made me sick, i have to restart the heater in the middle of the night in the fall and winter when I wake up and realize it’s 50 degrees in my apartment, and the walls are celebrating from the 2nd story ceiling, the ground floor tiling, and the top of the staircase is starting to warp. I am disabled and have a toddler and they haven’t taken me seriously over here issues. I don’t feel safe in my own home and I have nowhere else to go. Tenant called to say no action has been taken. Additional issues include foundation problems, heater not working properly and extensive mold issues. Complaint inspect. sch. 11/15/21 (MON) @ 1:30 w/JH. Mgmt. notified.

Apartment C14 has not been able to flush my toilet in 3 weeks. Same as Apartment 18, & a couple others in the Kimble Dr. Apt Complex. Apt. C18 has a ceiling in his Bathroom that is literally leaking water so bad into his tub. His Bathroom is Literally not FEASABLE. Can Not Use! People was Moved In During May 2021 to Apartments that was not ready to be moved in what so ever. no stove in 1, No Fridge in 1 & the Central Air in My Buidling-Apartment is on the 3rd Floor Upstairs on the LEFT... Is Not working Nor has it been or been fixed even looked at. Amy Deckard has been liveing there for 3 weeks. I have bben there for 4 months & I have a small whole in my bathroom ceiling from a leak in the above apartment PLUS Yes My Toiulet Wilkl not Flush Unless I Plunge It almost Everytime 1st. That has not been fixed. ALL THIS HAS BEEN TURNED IN TO EMPLOYEES>>>MOTHING DONE! Place IS Very UNSAFE & NOT LIVEABLE. Dangers Will Come if My Name is Brought To Attention. NO HOME, & ETC.
