This is following up on a previous complaint. I am using a separate filing because I could not figure out how to reply to the last one.
The traffic patterns at the intersection of 10th and Range Rd facilitate dangerous maneuvers by motorists, which put at risk other motorists and pedestrians. There are two lane options on 10th going east and west: right turn only or straight/left turn only. The light is only indicates 'Go' and there are no arrow lights. When a motorist wants to turn left coming from either direction on 10th, it blocks all straight bound traffic. Right turns are much rarer at this intersection, so the right turn only lane is completely open. Some motorists choose to use this lane to go straight through the intersection and blow through nearly hitting turning vehicles that are patiently waiting their turn to go. Backed up traffic creates a blind spot for the left turning vehicle and they often do not see the oncoming vehicle attempting to go straight in the right only lane. Every day there are close encounters. To make matters more difficult, the bus stop is immediately adjacent to this intersection on both sides of 10th, causing even more close encounters. This is a high traffic intersection at all times of the day, but particularly in the morning and evening during rush hours.

People daily continue to zip through stop signs going north and south at Smith and Morningside. It is dangerous. PLEASE can the City add flashing lights to the stop signs at least the Smith ones, paint the crosswalks back and/or something to help enforce people properly stopping there . Thank you!!

What is the plan to address the literal impassability of 10th street across campus during the day? It is insane the City allows that road block to continue. Any what is the plan to overall approve east west vehicle traffic across town? Ideally multilane options. Again, insane. Would actively recommend not moving to or working in Bloomington due to traffic problems here. I love Bloomington promotes walking, biking, scooters, etc. But the solution is not making life hell for drivers often limited in options. Someone needs to get their act together. This is not ok.

Someone this past weekend dumped a box springs in the middle of Wilson Street between Grant and Palmer. I moved it off the street, but could you send a truck and pick it up?

Re: report #158470 A commercial trailer parked along S. Laurel Court. This was referred to RaeAnne? and has subsequently been marked resolved. Am I too assume that this trailer and pickup truck are parked legally? It was there this morning and clearly impedes visibility while driving around it. It is parked right across from the mail boxes making it even more concerning.
Thanks for looking into this issue.

Drivers turning old 37 into race track. The attached image of the license plate and black Ford Focus. This guy was racing Two motor cycles on old 37 on Sunday April 23rd at noon. Passed me by Monroe/Morgan State Forest on a double yellow going at lest 60-70mph. I caught up to him at the entrance onto highway 37/i69. Then in all of his genius he went to an egg Mcmuffin emergency at McDonald's in Martinsville..

Bicyclists should not be riding on Sare or Rhorer during morning and evening commutes. They are causing back-ups and some drivers appear to in a hurry and passing when they should not. I see no reason why biking on main roads should be limited between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Otherwise, they get in rush hour traffic and cause problems.

There is a pole nut no crosswalk sign to warn speeding cars.
This dog-leg is a heavily used walkway for the employees of
Solution Tree that has to walk across the street to get to parking lot. I have almost been hit many times as well as my coworkers. Cars do not slow down and it is a BLIND bend. Please make this a top priority to put a sign up before someone gets seriously injured or killed.
