Please add more signage to 3rd and Rogers St. to discourage through traffic on W 3rd St. especially large trucks and vehicles with trailers. 4th St. & 3rd St. & Howe are all designated “neighborhood residential street” in the Bloomington Transportation Plan. They are to be “low speed and low volume”. There is a sign east of Rogers on 3rd. that says “No through trucks on 3rd St” but it is old and very faded. I am asking if a similar sign could be newly added to the two sign posts at Rogers that are of a picture of a black truck with a red circle crossing it out, add the written signs underneath that, is that possible? I live in 117 S.Heritage Rd. Bloomington. Thanks for the help, the blind spot cleared for 2 days. Now there’s another vehicle park at that spot. My friend passed by Heritage most of the time because the construction on Smith Rd. She felt so sorry for because Heritage Rd. Is such a mass. Actually I do enjoy how people react to that one lane place, they just patiently slow down or even stop to wait for people on the other side to pass. I really respect those people, that’s what make American so special. On the other hand, there’s one one person hold on his privilege “legal parking on the public street”, not even trying to make an small effect to make all the rest a safe street to drive. How selfish and not considerate. What a shame!

Please paint lane markers on Eagleson between Atwater and Third. I drive there twice a day and have seen 4 drivers in the wrong lane heading south on Eagleson since the street was repaved. Very dangerous.

I live on S. Heritage Rd, Bloomington. My neighbor at 200 prefer to park his vehicles on the street which creates a blind angle for me to see the car turn in from 3rd street. I am not sure if people turn in from 3rd can see me back up clearly. For several times, once I back into the middle of the road, there’s a car right behind me. It’s unimaginable. What is happening? I wonder anything can be done to solve this dangerous situation?

I reported the driving situation on Heritage Rd. Today when I back up to Heritage Rd, the ankle of the next door car parking on the street do block the view. Only when the time I am all out I saw the car from 3 rd street, and the driver in that car be able to see me. It’s not speeding problem, it’s the blocking of view make the back up so dangerous. Citizen’s safety is more important than individuals’ convenient. Please be more concerned.

When you drive west on Allendale Drive to Walnut Street Pike, you cannot see to the right when pulling out into traffic. Vehicles drive so fast on Walnut St. Pk. there is an accident waiting to happen. Trees and bushes need to be trimed back looking both left and right. There are a lot of senior citizens living in Sherwood Oaks so we need to make sure we do all we can do to make it safe for them. Please take a look at this problem. Thank you!

Where Sowder Square meets Allendale Drive in Sherwood Oaks you cannot see traffic coming from the right. Almost everyone on Sowder Square has accidentally pulled out in front of traffic because they can't see traffic coming. The large bush needs to be removed before there is an accident and somebody gets hurt. Can you please take a look at this issue for the residents on Sowder Square. Thank you!

Westbound traffic on 2nd Street are trying to turn into the new Rockets Convenience Store. I've been in the left turn-lane for Patterson, and someone crossed the double-yellow line to make his own "turn lane" to go into Rockets. The way the entry is shaped there should be no left turn into the facility. Westbound traffic should turn on Patterson and access Rockets the back way. There have been other posts on social media about this. There needs to be a "No Left Turn" sign or something there - it's a prime spot for an accident.

There's a 3 way stop at this intersection. The cars coming off Runkle way toward S Welmir can't see clearly toward the oncoming cars off of 3rd street (the cars that don't stop) because of the bushes planted on the little divider. Almost got hit the other day creeping out so I could see!

Thanks for the reply. I am taking about the situation now. When the time I back up from my driveway to the Heritage, I looked right, left, till no car in sight. I slowly back to the street, immediately a loud squeaky brake behind me. A red car from 3rd street almost hits my car. Of course those cars can park wherever they allowed after the construction done on Smith Rd. But now it’s so dangerous! You should not wait till something terribly happened before taking actions.
