Stop signs ignored
Stop signs ignored
The first priority of public street is to maintain a safe condition for people to drive. When someone take the advantage of “free legal parking” to extend personal “driveway” into public street permanently, do create a hazardous driving situation and the function of public street has been completely destroyed.
I reported a driving hazardous situation, and have been asked by Danna for address: 201 S Heritage Rd. Bloomington IN. Hope this will reach to Danna.
Bloomington- *does absolutely nothing all summer* Bloomington the first week of school 9:00am: *25 men with signs and cones block off 6 main roads for an hour pretending to do stuff and everyone is 30 mins late to school and work Bloomington 10:00am-3:00 pm: *nothing* Bloomington 3:30 pm-4:30pm: *gets back out the 25 men and cones, proceeds to block off every main road in town.* I mean cmon guys. This is our tax money. Do better.
When traveling north on Curry Pike and planning to turn left (west) onto Vernal Pike the light has been changed to a “left turn on arrow only.” This is very annoying and seems unnecessary as you can see oncoming southbound traffic just fine. It makes no sense that a much busier interaction a mile south at 3rd & Curry Pike allows you turn left on flashing yellow but this light with much less traffic does not. Please consider changing this back to allow cars to turn on yellow flashing arrow. Thank you
There needs to be a traffic circle or something at Prow and Arlington because it is a nearly daily issue at the intersection - unprotected and inexperienced drivers. -Sam Dove, samudove@gmail.com
You have a crosswalk with a planter. The huge sidewalk you are putting in has made the road too narrow. You should make the crosswalk planter small so the road is not too narrow. Will the new, much narrower road meet the width requirements? Seems like this is just going to create accidents and the city is being negligent.
Very high speeds on residential streets. Family dog was hit, children almost hit on neighborhood Road.
The crosswalk signals on Bloomfield and landmark right across from Buffalo Wild Wings are not working properly. I have waited 20 minutes just to cross the street to the bus stop and have even missed the bus due to this issue. It is very irritating and dangerous as I have had to just run across to catch the bus on time.
If a house owner piled things in their driveway and use the public street for parking, and the other drivers have to drive on the other side of the street to get around. In case any accident happened while driving on the other side of the street, who will be responsible? Could city give this person a suggestion to clean their driveway for parking and make the public street a save place to drive? This situation happened in Park Ridge. Thanks for your attention.
