I would like to request a traffic speed study, or at least greater speed limit enforcement, for cars traveling on East Maxwell Lane between Rose Ave and Highland Ave. The posted speed limit is 25 mph, but it's a half-mile straight shot from High Street to Highland Ave, and cars regularly travel well above the speed limit past Maxwell Terrace Apartments and several homes with kids playing outside. Given that Maxwell Lane is a signed bike route that also has a blind hill, I hope something can be done to slow speeders and reduce the possibility of accidents in this area.

Westbound traffic on 2nd Street are trying to turn into the new Rockets Convenience Store. I've been in the left turn-lane for Patterson, and someone crossed the double-yellow line to make his own "turn lane" to go into Rockets.
The way the entry is shaped there should be no left turn into the facility. Westbound traffic should turn on Patterson and access Rockets the back way.
There have been other posts on social media about this. There needs to be a "No Left Turn" sign or something there - it's a prime spot for an accident.

Hello,
The stop lights at the intersections of Jordan and Atwater, and the intersection at 3rd and Jordan, are not synced. As a result, people driving to and from campus get hit by both stop lights. They used to be synced up with one another so drivers would make both lights if they were traveling east or if they were traveling west. Now, no matter what, you'll have to stop at one of them.
Also, the green turn arrow light always comes on at the intersection of Jordan and 3rd, even if there is no traffic. This creates weird delays for people trying to leave campus.
I know these complaints of mine are trivial, I'm not sure how much it would take to re-sync the stop lights. But I've worked on campus for years and it was perfect - now this happens and hundreds of people have to stop for 2 separate stop lights 4 or 5 times a day when it used to be zero stops.

Is it possible to install one of the temp speed signs on Renwick Blvd? Residents in the neighborhood routinely drive over 40 mph and there are many children and pedestrians on the road throughout day. Also, the speed limit sign before you reach East Moores on Renwick is blocked by a tree.

Traffic from 5:00 - 6:30 on Banta is very dangerous due to lack of sidewalks and cars attempting to bypass traffic on W Country Club by driving up Banta, turning left onto Ralston, then turning to Rockport, then West onto Country Club. This leads to cars driving very fast up Banta. I would have submitted this as a "Close Call," as I was nearly hit twice. Once while pulling into my driveway, and again while picking up my mail. I believe a 4-way stoplight, with preference for W. Country Club, would be a good solution to the current 4-way stop sign which I believe generates these patterns. If there were no advantage to cutting through the neighborhood, the number of people doing so would decrease. Another solution would be to position speed cameras, or police officers to identify reckless drivers and begin ticketing more extensively in the neighborhood. However, those solutions are more temporary.

For motorists traveling south on Hawthorne, a 'long haired' bush on the north side of First St, just east of Hawthorne, obscures view of cars traveling west on First St. I travel this way each day and have had close calls when surprised by a westbound car as I was turning left on First when I thought it was clear to do so.
