I would like to request a traffic speed study, or at least greater speed limit enforcement, for cars traveling on East Maxwell Lane between Rose Ave and Highland Ave. The posted speed limit is 25 mph, but it's a half-mile straight shot from High Street to Highland Ave, and cars regularly travel well above the speed limit past Maxwell Terrace Apartments and several homes with kids playing outside. Given that Maxwell Lane is a signed bike route that also has a blind hill, I hope something can be done to slow speeders and reduce the possibility of accidents in this area.

Vehicle come off Bloomfield rd on to Allen St an Accelerate way beyond the 25 mph speed and there are some cars and trucks with very loud exhaust that you can hear them as they get farther away. There are 6 intersection in this stretch of Allen st. Could the City place some traffic calming device on Allen St from Bloomfield Rd to Adams st? I have requested this 6 months ago and have not heard anything.

Since Catalent is using Twin Lakes/Sportsplex for additional employee parking, traffic on W 2nd St. has become very heavy and SLOW, especially at shift changes. Are there any plans to add traffic lanes or additional turn lanes to 2nd St and/or the entrance/exit to Twin Lakes? Catalent is currently adding another 600+ positions, which will probably add more vehicles and slower travel times through this area.

I have a 10 year daughter and a 12 year old son. There are many younger kids in this neighborhood one of which has autism. Many cars throughout the day and night drive too fast around the curve on this road. I'm afraid that a child will be hit by a car. It would be great if a speed bump could be installed here since speed limit signs are not being adhered to.

Traffic from 5:00 - 6:30 on Banta is very dangerous due to lack of sidewalks and cars attempting to bypass traffic on W Country Club by driving up Banta, turning left onto Ralston, then turning to Rockport, then West onto Country Club. This leads to cars driving very fast up Banta. I would have submitted this as a "Close Call," as I was nearly hit twice. Once while pulling into my driveway, and again while picking up my mail. I believe a 4-way stoplight, with preference for W. Country Club, would be a good solution to the current 4-way stop sign which I believe generates these patterns. If there were no advantage to cutting through the neighborhood, the number of people doing so would decrease. Another solution would be to position speed cameras, or police officers to identify reckless drivers and begin ticketing more extensively in the neighborhood. However, those solutions are more temporary.

Hello, I am re-developing the property @ 3000 South Walnut. The location is where the former Southern Winds Hotel and Roosters club were located. The property at the beginning a workout facility and a chiropractors office. AS you pull out from the property and are going to turn left (North) and cross traffic, there are two trees located to the north on the side of the road. When cars are coming South and I am turning to the North, it is difficult to see whats coming and that is where the speed limit changes from 30 to 40mph, which is the place many seems to start speeding up. We will have more traffic than ever entering and leaving the property right from the beginning and even more as the property continues to be redeveloped overtime after the initial building and business's are active. A stop light right around there of course would be superb for the property but probably could never happen due to the traffic that occur that comes over the hill when people are traveling South down South Walnut. With that in mind I was hoping the two large trees could be taken down so it is much safer at that point because of the visibility that would open up. One tree is directly in from of the property and the other is directly in front on an older apartment complex that has around 10 apartments in it, it looks like. Would this be possible? Or maybe we could plant a couple new tress which would be much smaller and take several years to grow out? Of course that problem would show up again several years from now but it would take care of it presently for sevevral years. I am just worried about such a great new area being redeveloped for the area and future to have potential traffic issues with people being able to see when pulling out of the property. You all changed the path and direction of northbound traffic at the roundabout at Sare and Rogers. As a result, traffic is backed up each morning and people are almost running into each other. Why the change? After all this time you just decide to change it? Really...? Another poor decision with regard to streets and traffic. It only makes morning commutes more difficult and unsafe. I can only image how congested this will make school bus traffic later this summer. You cannot fill in a pothole or repave a road, but you can change traffic markings on a roundabout after five (5) or six (6) years...?

The intersection of Moores Pike and Sare Rd going North/South. The lanes are not clearly marked and we have had several close calls as it is unclear how many and where the lanes are.
