Mr. Parks called to inform the City Police that the intersection of West Third St. and Curry Pike is hazardous due to motorists running red traffic lights. He mentioned it is near GE (no incident specifically AT GE, but nearby intersection). He would like the City to send someone out to watch our part of the intersection for violators.

Citizen (who is a candidate for County Commissioner), claims Sanitation truck has been speeding through his neighborhood. Says he has seen this at least twice, even at times that are not collection days for that area.
Intersection of 3rd and Pete Ellis is dangerous. Often a line for a left hand turn from 3rd develops to enter the B N parking lot. Island on 3rd doesn't allow traffic to get out of way from through traffic. Problem results in sudden braking and traffic congestion into College Mall and 3rd intersection. THere is a junk car that is parked halfway on the side walk and the car is being beaten up a little more everyday
The problem is actually in the sharp curve on Ramble Road East as soon as you come in off of North Dunn Street. There are bushes/tree limbs that have overgrown into the street causing drivers to go over into the oncoming lane. This is a problem in this sharp curve when you cannot see someone coming the other direction.
There is a dangerous situation on Sare Road due to the line stripping. If you follow the lane lines, it directs you into oncoming traffic.
As you come off of N. Old ST RD 37 onto Blue Ridge Drive there are tree limbs that have overgrown into the street causing a problem for bicycle riders as well as drivers.
Three or four inch drop off from Hinkle Road onto Headley Road due to recent paving. Have been numerous traffic accidents. See attached letter.
