Mr. Fleetwood stated that today he witnessed several vehicles going around a city bus that was stopped to let students off near the tennis courts. Mr. Fleetwood stated that 2 girls were nearly run over as they crossed the street to get to their cars that were parked in the parking lot. Mr. Fleetwood thinks that there should be some sort of traffic signal/caution light or possibily a crossing guard. He is afraid that someone is going to get hurt. Mr. Van Orman called to ask if speed bumps could be installed on Pete Ellis Dr. There are several elderly people who live in this area and it is unsafe to be walking in this area because cars are travelling too fast on Pete Ellis Dr.. There is also a great potential for accidents at the intersection of Pete Ellis and Longview due to the speeds.

There is a street name sign at Franklin and 3rd Street that is bent over at an angle, located in the northwest corner. I believe this sign pre-dated the project and may not be necessary now that the street names are overhead on the signal structure.
